i'm posting more lemon x peperoncino gacha edits (and some au infodumping) because i am cringe but i am free

TRIGGER WARNING: PINK BLOOD AND GORE

PLEASE DO NOT GO BELOW THE CUT IF THIS CONTENT UPSETS YOU.

so in my au this is when lemon first encounters peperoncino

peperoncino gets washed up on the shore of the destroyed city lemon decided to reside in

the city was torn by the groundbreaking new bomb in the cookieverse that works like a nuke but isn't radioactive and some of the survivors of the attacks decided to inhabit the city since it was not radioactive

he gets cut up by all of the debris in the water and gets torn in half

surprisingly he survives (although he didn't want to since he just witnessed both habanero and cauliflower die in the span of two weeks so he basically just snapped)

so then lemon and a few other cookies are assigned to shore duty (basically where a group of cookies patrol the shore and report any abnormalities) and he finds the presumably dead body of peperoncino

the problem is the cookies assigned to this role have never reported seeing a crumbled cookie on shore so lemon gets scared

all of the jam surrounding the cookie make it worse as lemon does NOT like it

lemon oes faint but quickly comes to his senses

he reports his finding and they quickly rush peperoncino to the infirmary

condemn him t- GUNSHOTS

thankfully the surgeons were very skilled, pronounced him ALIVE, and got straight to work keeping him alive

during peperoncino cookie's recovery lemon visits him and they just stare at each other

although peperoncino was completely unconscious when lemon found him he still recognized him as a friendly cookie and let him stay (he was too weak to do anything besides lay in his hospital bed and babble and cry sometimes anyway)

lemon did see peperoncino cry once then and he immediately rushed to his side and console him

eventually after days and days of lemon coming to his room and hearing him talk about things to him peperoncino starts to find his voice comforting and he starts to smile when he visits

and once lemon notices this...

There's such a precise tone achieved in hades around zagreus dying over and over again and also having pitched battles with his father to the death where it's like.
